Last Sunday, I went to our Carinderia beside the old elementary school. As I was nearing the place I saw a huge crowd gathering in front of the school gate. I look inside and there was more of them inside. I thought maybe a politician was there announcing something or inagurating some project.
As I proceeded to our store and ask my dad about it, He said that it was new and transferees voter's registration. What surprised me was that he said for just 500 pesos you can re register your name and be able to vote twice. Damn I said to myself, same old practice of those TRAPO's. One of my relative is a councilor. She was there giving out money to those who were residents of another place and has tranferred just to be able to vote. "May manananggal pala kahit araw" flying registrants?
Some of them are asking for money to buy rice, to buy food, for their children's tuition fee, for their medicine and every alibi's they can think of. I think these local politicians are just making them more parasitic and dependent on money politics.
When will our people learn to vote irregardless of the politician's money or fame? Damn rotten system...

Yes, it's politics ... and it really stinks! We need to do something about it and we can start from our own backyard, then our neighbors. Pare, never stop doing the right thing.
